About The Adventures of Slim and Steve
The Premise
Two politically incorrect Abbott
and Costello-like friends go on
any and every adventure
imaginable, from fighting aliens in
space to fighting for beers during
spring break.
The Set-Up
The great thing about this show is
that itʼs not stuck in the same old
town or the same world or even
the same time. These characters
can be in outer space one
episode and a prize fight the
next. The only thing that stays
the same are the over the top
charactersʼ personalities. Just
plop them into any situation or
genre, stir, sit back and watch the
fireworks. Just like with Daffy Duck
and Buggs Bunny all the audience
cared about was what kind of
crazy situations the characters got into
next and with Slim and Steve we
can push these situations even further
and with more contemporary settings
like Covid or TV shows like Squid
Games. Anything
for a laugh!.
Characters
SLIM has only two speeds... balls to the wall
action or death. A Chihuahua yipping at deathʼs
heels who actually imagines heʼs the love child
of Steve McQueen and Arnold
Schwarzenegger. The alpha male of all alpha
males. The baddest of all bad asses and
constantly needing to
prove it, but only succeeds in disproving it. But
you gotta love ʻem ʻcause even though he can
be the most annoying man on the planet, he
calls it like he sees it, never makes apologies for
who he is, and never says
die, not even when heʼs dead.
STEVE is the Yang to Slimʼs Ying.
Heʼs never had an emotion higher then a one.
A lovable, dimwitted, gentle giant who wears
inappropriate t-shirts his mother bought him,
and oddly enough, the moral compass of the
two, which is no compass at all.

CREATORS
JAMES BAKER
Jim, a Pennsylvania native, discovered his passion for animation through the mesmerizing works of Ray Harryhausen. This early inspiration led him to pursue a career at Disney, where he contributed to iconic films like Hercules and The Emperors New Groove.
Today, Jim brings his talents to The Third Floor as a Previs Supervisor, crafting the visual foundations for blockbuster Marvel movies such as the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. His expertise in previsualization ensures that these films deliver stunning action sequences and breathtaking visual effects.
When not immersed in the world of animation, Jim indulges in his love for wildlife photography. He has ventured on African safaris, capturing breathtaking images of mountain gorillas and river crocodiles. His passion for nature and his ability to capture its beauty are evident in his work both on and off the screen. Still, he's not above a good fart joke!
STEVEN PIERRE GORDON
Steve is a seasoned animator with a passion for storytelling and a love for the arts. Growing up in the expansive farmlands of Bakersfield, California, he developed a deep appreciation for the freedom and creative spirit that the rural lifestyle fostered.
After completing his studies at California Institute of the Arts, he embarked on a successful career in animation, contributing to some of the most beloved films of the era. His work can be seen in iconic titles such as Tarzan, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, and Surf's Up, where he lent his talents to bringing these animated worlds to life.
Currently, he continues to hone his craft as an animator on the long-running animated series The Simpsons. Beyond his professional endeavors, Steve has explored other creative outlets. He has authored three comic books titled "The Adventures of Slim and Steve," showcasing his storytelling abilities and artistic vision. Additionally, he is a dedicated martial artist, practicing Muay Thai in his free time. And to further showcase his versatility, he has penned two novels, demonstrating his love for the written word.
With a career spanning decades and a diverse range of creative pursuits, Steven Pierre Gordon remains a prominent figure in the animation industry, inspiring others with his passion, talent, and unwavering dedication to crafting a good fart joke for Jim.
